Salon and Spa Etiquette

At Salute Hair Skin Spa, we offer the opportunity for you to enjoy not only beautiful treatments, but also a tranquil and peaceful environment. Please respect the quiet and privacy of other Salon and Spa guests by using a lowered voice and turning off mobile phones. For your comfort, the Spa is a child-free area.

Some of our skin and spa treatments include the full use of our retreat room, with complimentary refreshments.

We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

As a courtesy to all our clients all treatments are completed as scheduled. Please call to advise if you are running late. If you are extremely late, we may have to reschedule your appointment.

ILLNESS & WELLNESS

If you are feeling under the weather, we ask you to please contact us to reschedule your appointment, not only for your own health and safety but the health and safety of our staff.

Please notify our front desk manager whilst booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments, or if you are pregnant.
For your safety and information, our salon beauty beds have a weight limit of 165kg. This weight limit is set by the bed manufacturer. We apologise in advance if this will affect your appointment. Please contact us at your earliest convenience should you wish to discuss this further.

Cancellations must be advised 24 hours in advance or charges will apply

Our Commitment to You
We deeply value your time and our team's efforts. Our booking policy is designed to enhance our services and offer you a seamless experience. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the key points below.

Our Booking Deposit
To ensure a seamless experience for your upcoming appointments, we've introduced a booking deposit of $50. This deposit will be conveniently subtracted from your total service cost during your appointment. Alternatively, if you decide not to proceed with the service, it will be credited to your account for future use. This flexible deposit can be applied towards any of our offerings, serving as a helpful way to support our efficient business operations and offer a fair booking system for everyone.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We understand that life can sometimes present unexpected changes. With this in mind, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to provide this notice may result in a charge equal to your $50 booking fee, which will be retained or required before scheduling future appointments.

In case of short notice cancellations, you have two options:
  •     Send a friend or family member in your place.
  •     Pay a $50 late notification fee.
Deposits and booking fees are non-refundable.

No-Show Fee
When a no-show occurs without reasonable notification, a $50 fee will be charged to your nominated card on file. This fee reflects our commitment to optimizing our services and respecting the time of both clients and staff.

Why It Matters
No-shows have a profound impact on our business. They lead to lost revenue opportunities and disrupt our operations. When a client doesn't show up for a scheduled appointment, the potential income and valuable time are lost, affecting the entire team. As a small business, these instances are particularly challenging for us.

Your Role
Your support is crucial in upholding the integrity of our services. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to abide by our Booking, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy. We truly believe that your respect for our time enhances the experience for everyone.

Staying Connected
To help you stay on track, we provide automated reminders via email or text. Please ensure we have your accurate contact details to receive these reminders. Confirming your appointments with us ensures a smooth process for you and fellow clients.

We are a unisex, non-binary environment. Everyone is invited to enjoy our services.

Our extremely popular Gift cards can be purchased either online or at our reception for any dollar denomination or listed service from our menu. Present upon arrival prior to your service to redeem these. Unredeemed amounts will be stored on the card for future use, please refer to our website for more terms and conditions.

Queensgate offers four hours free parking. Six hours extended parking is available at the Queensgate information kiosk.

10% discount on all Hairdressing & Beauty Services for students. Discounts only apply 9am to 5pm, Tuesdays & Wednesdays (excludes gift cards, products, director and discounted services or promotions).

Our Loyalty Programme

  • Your Love Points rewards can be added on to any treatment or service, any day of the week.
  • Your Love Points rewards may be gifted to your friends and family members (see Reception to make this happen).

  • Love Points don’t attach to Appearance Medicine services.
  • You can only choose rewards from the ‘From Salute With Love’ menu – Love Points cannot be exchanged for cash or any other service.
  • You don’t earn Love Points on purchases of gift vouchers – points are earned by the person redeeming the voucher.
  • If you book a Love Points service from the menu and don’t show up, your points associated with that service will be forfeited.

  • Your Love Points are valid for 2 years from the day they are earned.
  • Expired Love Points cannot be credited back to your account.

  • We will include your Love Points balance in our email newsletters to you, and you can ask Reception for a balance at any time. Your update Emails will also contain special offers – please make sure we have your correct email address.

  • You can redeem only one reward per visit.
  • Your Love Points reward appointments are subject to availability.
  • Sorry, but we do not run the Love Points programme for any bookings in December.
